NARO

NARO Cinema in Norfolk, Va first opened February 24th, 1936 as the Colley Theater in Ghent. In the sixties the theater changed hands and the new owner, Robert Levine, changed the name of the theater from Colley to NARO, naming it after his father and mother, Nathan and Rose. Over the years the NARO has changed hands and use multiple times and now serves as a community gathering place for public audiences to experience new films, live music, speakers and public discourse.
